After two weeks of action in Challengers and Legends Stages, it’s finally time for the Champions Stage bracket in Antwerp.

The quarter-finals start on Thursday. Bracket play will last all weekend with a champion being crowned on Sunday (May 22).

Eight teams have made it this far, and all eight have earned their place in the quarter-finals.

Unlike the Legends Stage, no team automatically qualifies for bracket play. Each of the eight teams had to win three best of threes in order to get into the bracket.

The four quarter-finals are:

Thursday, May 19

Ninjas in Pyjamas vs FaZe Clan (15:30 BST)
Spirit vs FURIA (19:00 BST)

Friday, May 20

ENCE vs Copenhagen Flames (15:30 BST)
NaVi vs Heroic (19:00 BST)

Copenhagen Flames are here making their first Champions Stage appearance on their fifth attempt. They very nearly didn’t get the job done too.

They needed a double overtime victory against Imperial in order to book their place in the bracket. That was the last match of all the qualifiers.

Squeaking in with a 3-2 record after starting 2-0, they’ll be breathing a big sigh of relief as they wait for games to start again.

FaZe got off to a losing start in the best of one part of the Legends Stage but they quickly turned it around to progress.

They’ll come up against NIP in the first bracket play round. NIP have looked fantastic so far this Major.

They did lose to NaVi though, the Ukrainian team still looking as strong as ever despite real-world issues in their region.

Spirit were the first team through to the bracket, with some really dominant showings in the Legends Stage.

It’s hard to pick a favourite to come away with the title at this point. Action starts again on Thursday (May 19).
