ENCE have beaten Copenhagen Flames to move onto the semi-finals of PGL Antwerp.

They won in two straight maps, with Flames not able to win a map in their main stage debut.

ENCE won the series on pure quality. They outclassed and outplayed their opponents throughout.

Spinx dropped 50 kills in the two maps as the European team really just stepped up to the occasion.

Not bad for a performance in his first appearance on a Major stage.

The series got started on Vertigo. ENCE came out of the blocks firing, racing out to a 12-3 lead at half after an impressive showing on the CT side.

Flames turned it around a little bit after the swap but it was nowhere near enough to get themselves back in contention.

Nuke was the second and last map in the series and this one actually looked like it was going to go the way of Copenhagen for a long time.

The Danish side controlled everything about the map in the early stages but their grip on the contest waivered as time went on.

ENCE came streaming back into the map and ended up taking it 16-12. They won 10 of 13 rounds on the CT side to take the victory and to progress to the semi-finals.

ENCE will now go on to face the winner of this afternoon’s matchup between NaVi and Heroic.

Copenhagen Flames crash out, placing T8 in Antwerp. They walk away with $35,000 as a consolation prize.

They very nearly didn’t qualify for the bracket stage of the tournament but managed to squeeze in with a 3-2 record in the Legends Stage.

The loss was their first appearance on main stage at a Major, they’ll go back to the drawing board and attempt to come back stronger.
