Florida Mutineers are hosting a $3,000 tournament for Challengers players in North America on July 30.

The event will be held online and will consist of a 64-team bracket in which some of the top teams in NA will take part.

This tournament will be an incredible opportunity for some of the top teams in NA to get some practice in before Challengers Champs happens a week later.

Mutineers have been kind enough to make the event free to play. The Florida team will encourage teams to enter for their chance of winning the $3k bounty.

The prize pool of the tournament is more than the typical Challengers Cup that players play often throughout the course of the season.

It will be the last chance that any teams get to practice in a competitive setting before heading out to Los Angeles for Champs.

The early favourites for the tournament would have to be the Toronto Ultra Academy team from NA.

They are fresh on the back of winning their second Open event of the season.

Taking down Electrify Steel in the final, they have an unbelievable amount of momentum behind them heading into the crucial stages of the season.

Thomas “Scrappy” Ernst and co. will not have to play in the LCQ either. An automatic spot at Champs is theirs.

The LCQ will be played on the weekend prior to Mutineers’ Kraken Bounty tournament.

Unfortunately, there will be no equivalent of the tournament for teams outside of North America.

Mutineers will be competing this weekend at the New York Subliners Major 4 tournament. They will have the chance to play for their share of $500,000 in the Big Apple.

You can register for the Mutineers tournament here.
