Javi “Vikul” Milagro will play for the Florida Mutineers in the 2023 Call of Duty League season, per The Rotation sources.

Vikul was part of the most successful Challengers team in Vanguard. He showed huge personal progress as a competitive player over the course of the season.

His individual addition to the Toronto Ultra Academy NA roster that dominated Challengers LANs cannot be understated.

Whilst he may not get the plaudits he deserves due to the outstanding talent of Thomas “Scrappy” Ernst sharing the spotlight on the team, Javi definitely deserves his spot in the league.

Vikul helped his team to two huge LAN wins during the Vanguard season, winning the Minnesota and Boston Opens.

Adam “Assault” Garcia joining the team really helped Vikul to show his full ability in the last two events of the season. He exploded with huge numbers in Boston and at Champs.

Florida-bound

He will play for the Florida Mutineers, who have pulled apart their entire roster following the Vanguard season.

Vikul’s fast pace and tempo makes him almost the complete antithesis to what Florida had last season. It is a change that will no doubt serve them well.

One thing they lacked during the Vanguard season was that explosive ability from more than just one player on their roster. They have clearly sought to address that this offseason.

The only player that was resigned for Florida during the Team Option window was David “Davpadie” Maslowski.

Davpadie will more than likely start the season on the bench.

During Vanguard, the team’s best placement on LAN was 4th. They made a solid run at Major 2, defeating OpTic on their way to a T4 finish.

The team missed out on a place at the World Championship at the start of August. That meant that changes were almost guaranteed for the organisation.

They had made two changes heading into Major 4, with Mike “MajorManiak” Szymaniak and Brendan “2ReaL” Stockdale coming into the team. Adding those two to the roster wasn’t enough to get them to Champs as they bowed out of the final Major of the year with a T6 finish.
